The first event of the year, our AGM held on the 15th Jan. Bob Cooper accepted the Presidency from Mike Mansfield. Peter Hambly accepted the joint Vice Presidency position.

Burns night at the Scottish Hall. 23rd Jan.

8 of us represented Bournemouth Cornish at the above event. We are always made very welcome.       

Annual Church Service and lunch 9th Feb. 2020

14 intrepid members bravely challenged the stormy weather to attend the service and excellent Carvery lunch which followed at the Chequers.

12 attended the event where the flag was raised by our Mayor. This was followed by a small ceremony at Louis's grave which was followed by coffee in the church.

Nine people ignored Coronavirus to partake in a most pleasant lunch.

It is with very great sadness that we have to inform everyone that our member Elizabeth Lane and Bard of Cornwall (Maghteth Baldu) passed away this morning. Our thoughts are with Aubrey and her family.

Our Pasty Supper on the 22nd April was cancelled because of the Coronavirus restrictions.

It also with regret that the Skittles and fish and chips has also been cancelled.

Furthermore our cream tea and barbeque has suffered with cancellations as well.

We regret that no functions will take place until further notice.

This regrettably includes our 99th Annivesary Dinner.
